Job Description:
HCA Healthcare seeks a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered
Nurse (RN) for our Preoperative Same Day Surgery (SDS) part-time
position to join our compassionate pre-surgical care team. In this
role, you will prepare patients for surgery by ensuring they are
adequately assessed and informed while maintaining a high standard
of care. Your expertise in nursing will help us continue our
mission to care for and improve human life at all our locations
across the United States. Assess patient condition and medical
history prior to surgery Educate patients and families about the
surgery procedure and post-operative care Monitor patient vital
signs and administer preoperative medications Ensure compliance
with healthcare regulations and safety standards Collaborate with
surgeons and anesthesiologists to optimize patient care Document
all patient interactions and surgical preparations accurately in
the medical record Strong assessment and triage capabilities
Excellent patient education and communication skills Proficiency in
managing multiple patient care priorities Ability to work
effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Skilled in the use
of medical software for patient records Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered
Nurse license Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced
Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
