markets. We are an engineering-based company, with expertise in all
aspects of power supply design, manufacturing and test.Position
SummaryUnder general supervision, performs moderately complex
technical functions to ensure products meet specifications. -
Responsibilities will include: Power supply assembly tasks in
accordance with workmanship standards; Inspection of product in
accordance with industry standard criteria; set-up, alignment,
testing and limited product troubleshooting in accordance with test
documentation. -Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work from and Interpret a Variety of Documentation -- Must be
able to read, interpret and follow work/assembly instructions,
assembly drawings, schematics, Manufacturing Routings, Operation
Instructions and Acceptance Test Procedures. - Be able to recognize
deficiencies in assembly documentation and recommend changes. - -

- Use Torque Tools in Assembly -- Use torque tools properly,
recognize and adjust for proper torque value.
- Conformal Coating and Surface Finish Touch-Up -- Select
appropriate conformal coating and surface finish materials and
perform touch-up of coatings and finishes according to
procedures.
- Utilize Test Equipment -- Set-up and operate test chambers and
a variety of electronic test equipment including multimeters,
oscilloscopes, signal generators and automatic test equipment.
- Perform Acceptance Testing of Power Supplies -- Perform bench
testing and automatic testing of power supplies using a variety of
test equipment and in accordance with Acceptance Test Procedures.

- Record Test Results -- Record power supply test performance and
reliability data. - Record failure data, complete failure reports
and maintain test logbooks.
- Inspection -- Performs assigned inspection duties to assure
compliance with requirements. - Performs primarily in-process
inspection, and when necessary performs receiving and/or final
inspection to assure product compliance with quality assurance
standards and applicable specifications. - When directed, performs
audits of specific areas, processes and procedures. - Uses standard
electrical and mechanical inspection tools such as microscopes,
calipers, mechanical gauges and other measuring devices. -
Maintains records of rejected/accepted material, maintains
databases for analysis of nonconformities. -
- Troubleshooting -- Perform limited failure diagnosis for power
supply failures at any assembly level or point in the test
sequence.
- Maintain Assembly Work Areas -- Comply with housekeeping
requirements, maintain assembly tools and equipment as instructed,
report defective equipment for repair/replacement. -
- Maintain Current Solder Skills Training -- Maintain
qualification for soldering through successful completion of
ongoing training and demonstration of soldering skills.
- Comply with Safety Procedures -- Follow safety rules, operate
equipment according to safety instructions, use personal protective
equipment as directed, comply with requirements for the safe use,
storage and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Ability to work flexible hours and/or different shifts, as
required.
- Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all
regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, State and Federal
Regulations.
- As the Company's success relies on the productivity of our team
and adherence to customer product schedules, an essential function
of this position is the ability to arrive to work on-time, and work
each day, as scheduled
- Perform other duties as assignedEducation and Experience
- Electronics training equivalent to two years technical trade
school, AA in electronics, or military technical school. -
- Trainable to electrical and mechanical inspection requirements,
including J-STD-001, IPC-610 and MIL-STDs.
- 2 to 4 years of related work experience.
- Strong mathematical abilities through intermediate
algebra.
- Practical understanding of the basic laws of electricity: Ohm's
Law, etc.
- Computer skills to support timekeeping, accessing data in
MRP/ERP system, test report generation and for controlling
automatic test equipment. - Proficient with Microsoft Office
programs including Word, Excel and Access database.
- Mechanical ability to operate test equipment and manual
dexterity to effectively use hand tools while performing
tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced situation under production
schedules.
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills to meet demands of
fast-paced work environment
- Ability to make sound decisions based on solid reasoning
regarding acceptance/rejection of material. -Salary Range: $15.72 -
