We are committed to offering a wide range of quality inpatient and outpatient services, including a fully equipped emergency department and a Level II NICU.Essential FunctionsMaintains American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or modality-specific competency in all clinical and technical functions.Ensures proper patient identification, order verification, and prepares the patient for the exam.Performs exams per department protocol and reviews images for quality, clarity, and accuracy.Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe working environment.Completes studies within acceptable time limits without compromising patient care or quality.Assists and instructs students and other CT Techs in exam protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment.Provides appropriate patient education, ensures patient comfort, and addresses concerns.Assist and instruct students and other radiology technologists in exam protocols, procedures, positioning, and equipment.Minimum QualificationsARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R) Upon Hire, RequiredBasic Life Support Certification (BLS), RequiredLicensure in state of practice as applicable, Upon Hire, RequiredPreferred QualificationsCertified Computed Tomography Technologist - American Registry of Radiography Technologists ARRT (R)(CT), Preferred1+ years of CT Experience, PreferredPhysical Requirements:Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Seeing, Standing.Location:Intermountain Health American Fork HospitalWork City:American ForkWork State:UtahScheduled Weekly Hours:36The hourly range for this position is listed below.
