Job Description Job Description Job Summary: We are looking for a CNC Machine Operator Assistant to support our production team with the handling of large metal sheets and finishing processes. This position is ideal for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual with basic metal shop experience. You’ll assist in operating CNC equipment and perform grinding and sanding of metal edges to prepare materials for final use. This role is physically demanding and plays an essential part in maintaining safety, quality, and workflow on the shop floor. Job Title: CNC Operator Assistant Swing Shift Job ID: 74424 Pay Rate: $18 (depending on experience, $3 pay shift differential for Swing shift) Job Location: West Jordan Shifts- Days: 7am - 3:30pm, M-F (possibility for 4 10's) Swings: 4pm - 2am, M-Th Responsibilities: Applicants could be required to do any of the following: Operate CNC machines to process large metal sheets Load and unload heavy materials onto/off of CNC equipment Grind and sand sharp edges using power tools (grinders, sanders, etc.) Perform physically intensive tasks including heavy lifting and long periods of standing Ensure strict adherence to shop safety rules and use of PPE (safety glasses, masks, etc.) Keep the work area clean by sweeping, removing debris, and maintaining overall shop tidiness Assist with general maintenance and housekeeping tasks as assigned Requirements: Mechanical aptitude and basic experience in metal shop operations Ability to safely and correctly use power tools Comfortable working in a physically demanding manufacturing environment Strong work ethic and willingness to contribute to team success Adherence to all safety protocols and shop cleanliness standards Company Perks: When you become a full-time employee: Medical Dental Vision 401K FSA Life Insurance Vacation starts accruing day 1 – two weeks per year for new employees up to 5 years Sick and Personal time received annually Paid Holidays Profit Share Bonus available after 30 full days of employment (*Qualifications must be met) Flexible work schedule Casual work environment and dress code Overtime Available Company Description BBSI’s staffing and recruiting services are designed to find and place people for contract and permanent placement.
