Clean Harbors, a leader in environmental, energy, and industrial services across North America, is currently seeking a dedicated Owner Operator-OTR (Over-the-Road) to join our Transportation team. As an Owner Operator, you will play a critical role in our mission to provide safe and reliable transportation services, contributing to our core objective of protecting the environment. This position requires managing the safe and timely movement of hazardous waste and other materials, ensuring compliance with both company and regulatory standards. Safely transport hazardous wastes and other materials over long distances across North America. Maintain compliance with all local, state, federal, and company regulations regarding transportation and waste handling. Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness and operational efficiency. Manage documentation related to route operations, disposal, and compliance. Coordinate with dispatch and customer service to manage schedules and meet client needs. Ensure timely deliveries and communicate any issues or delays immediately. Proven ability to operate a tractor-trailer or heavy truck. Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations and safety procedures. Strong time management and route planning skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to handle physical workload and long hours on the road. Medical Insurance Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class A Current Hazardous Materials Endorsement (HazMat) Clean driving record DOT Medical Card
