Job Description Job Description Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and reliable CDL Class A Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials and operating heavy-duty vehicles and equipment to support our excavation and construction operations. This role requires a valid CDL Class A license with specific endorsements and the ability to operate manual transmission vehicles. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate and maintain commercial vehicles, including: Haul trucks Water trucks Side dumps for material transport Lowboy trailers for transporting heavy equipment Other Class A commercial vehicles as required Transport materials, aggregates, equipment, and supplies to and from job sites Operate side dumps for hauling and dumping excavated material, rock, and other construction loads Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment Ensure compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety policies Load and unload materials and equipment as needed Maintain accurate records, including logbooks, delivery tickets, and inspection reports Communicate effectively with the dispatch team, supervisors, and site managers Qualifications: Valid CDL Class A license with: Tanker Endorsement No automatic transmission restriction (manual transmission operation required) Clean driving record with no major violations Minimum [Insert number of years, e.g., 2 years ] of commercial driving experience preferred Experience with side dumps and hauling heavy equipment is a plus Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and commercial driving best practices Commitment to safety and attention to detail Ability to work in various weather conditions and flexible hours, including overtime when needed What We Offer: Competitive pay based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with company match Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for training and career development A supportive and team-oriented work environment E04JI802lhui407ly2n
