Job Description:
Position Title: Senior SDET - QA Architecture Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in
Test (SDET) to join our QA architecture team at Redo. In this role,
you will design and build robust testing frameworks and
infrastructure that enable scalable quality assurance across our
entire product stack. You'll work closely with engineering teams to
implement these frameworks, establish testing best practices, and
drive code quality standards that support our rapid growth and
high-quality product delivery. Responsibilities: Design and
implement automated testing frameworks and infrastructure Build
reusable testing libraries, tools, and utilities for development
teams Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate testing best
practices into the development lifecycle Implement comprehensive
CI/CD testing pipelines, monitoring, and alerting systems Develop
performance, load, and security testing frameworks Provide
technical guidance on testability and quality engineering practices
Qualifications: Strong software development background with
experience in full-stack web applications Expertise in programming
languages such as TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or similar Deep
understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and
testing methodologies Experience building and maintaining automated
testing frameworks from the ground up Strong knowledge of CI/CD
pipelines and GitHub workflows Proven track record of delivering
scalable, maintainable testing solutions Excellent communication
skills with ability to explain technical concepts to diverse
audiences Experience mentoring developers and leading
cross-functional initiatives Strong collaborative mindset with
proven ability to work effectively across engineering teams
Demonstrated ability to drive adoption of new tools and processes
organization-wide Preferred Qualifications: BS/MS degree in
Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
Experience with modern testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright,
Cypress, etc.) Familiarity with TypeScript, Node.js, and RESTful
API testing Experience conducting technical training sessions or
workshops Track record of successfully influencing engineering
culture and practices Experience leveraging AI tools for
development and testing automation Based in Draper, Utah, we're
