Job Description Job Description The Westerner is currently hiring for a part-time Front Door Staff to warmly greet customers, check ID cards, and process payments as well as provide exceptional customer service for our bar and restaurant in the West Valley City, UT area. This part-time host / hostess position earns a competitive wage of $16 per hour , plus the opportunity to earn tips that range from $30 - $50 per night . DAY-TO-DAY This part-time host / hostess position typically works at our bar and restaurant every Friday and Saturday from 5:30 pm - 2:30 am . As a Front Door Staff, you are an important team member for us. You are the first person customers see when they enter our doors, but you are also the last person to bid them farewell when they are leaving. With your upbeat and friendly attitude, you facilitate a great environment and set the tone for each guest's experience. With great attention to detail, you check IDs upon arrival to the bar and accurately and efficiently handle all cash and credit card transactions. You feel good about fulfilling your customer service responsibilities and creating a fun environment to keep our customers coming back!
