Intermountain Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our OBGYN team in providing exceptional care to our patients. As a key member of our healthcare team, you'll play an integral role in managing daily clinical operations alongside OBGYN specialists, offering a compassionate touch and efficient service to those in our care. This position is vital in maintaining patient flow and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, upholding the high standards of healthcare that Intermountain is celebrated for. Preparing examination and treatment rooms by following proper protocols. Assisting during examinations and procedures, including managing supplies and instruments. Updating and maintaining patient health records in compliance with privacy regulations. Performing routine diagnostic tests, managing appointment schedules, and facilitating patient communications. Educating patients on treatment procedures, medication, and maintaining health post-visit. Proficiency in clinical procedures related to OBGYN care. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work comfortably under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Competence in using healthcare software for record keeping and scheduling. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from the American Association of Medical Assistants or similarly recognized credential. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
