LSI is growing; we are looking for deliberate and diligent Business Development Managers to walk the line between Account Executive and Customer Success.-- This role will be best filled by a strong team member with the skills to communicate from the Board Room to the Exhibit Floor and make sure our customers are heard, represented and supported.-- As part of that role, you will be very well familiar with our clients and their business. You will continually identify customer needs or opportunities for LSI services that extend beyond their current scope. You will build a business case and outline the needs, implications, value proposition and work with client and internal stakeholders to craft a solution based on LSI Capabilities.--This position is based at LSI's Corporate office in Layton UTIn this role, you will:Lead the growth of a group of managed accounts.Learn the intricacies of Federal and State procurement and acquisition processes.Collaborate on the development and execution of Strategic Account Plans that will structure your plan of engagement and growth.Heavily engage with Operational counterparts and leadership on Account status, history, potential and challenges.Work with cross-functional business units to ensure successful delivery on established client objectives.Provide thought leadership in your role as someone who can significantly influence the growth and trajectory of LSI, seek and implement continuous improvement in your daily work.We already assume you are organized and experienced with basic business tools like Office 365, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM, etc.To be successful in this role, you are:An accountable contributor and a masterful builder of relationships.Always learning new ways to improve your skills as a "growth practitioner".Open to enablement through training, coaching and mentoring.Motivated by engaging with clients in-person or through a cold-call.Excited by the opportunity to influence your compensation through the quality and outcome of your work.An engaged and independent learner to understand LSI and client business models.A problem-solver who can see how LSI solutions solve known and potential customer challenges.Comfortable in a performance-based environment (I.e. quota bearing).To win this role, you have:3 + years of experience in early funnel sales and account management.Professional communication skills including writing, speaking and presentations.High degree of comfort engaging with customers virtually and in-person.Requirements:Must be a U.S. Citizen.Successfully pass a drug screen and background check.Ability to travel 5-15%.What LSI will provide:Salary + Bonus programComprehensive Medical / Dental / Vision Insurance.Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) or Medical Stipend Reimbursement Plan.Medical & DCAP Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA).Group Retirement savings program with 401K match.Generous Paid Holidays and Time off (PTO) program.A culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotions.LSI is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
