hiring for an exciting Contract-to-Hire opportunity! Summary The
Level 3 Assembler is the go-to expert on the production floor, the
person who can take a complex wire harness or cable assembly and
bring it to life from start to finish. You’ll be hands-on every
day, tackling everything from precision soldering to detailed
electrical terminations. To shine in this role, you’ll need an
active IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification and solid experience building
high reliability assemblies that meet strict industry and customer
standards. We’re looking for someone who loves the details, thrives
in a technical environment, and knows their way around both manual
and semi-automated electrical assembly. Basically, if you enjoy
building complex things and making them look easy, you’ll fit right
in. Responsibilities Wire & Harness Building Take full ownership of
building wire harnesses and cable assemblies from start to finish.
This includes cutting, stripping, routing, terminating, bundling,
and lacing wires. Install connectors, back shells, sleeves, and
labels. Use jigs, formboards, layout boards, and other build
fixtures as needed to get the job done right. Soldering &
Termination Perform precise hand soldering on wires, terminals, and
when needed PCB components. Follow IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class II or III
and JSTD-001 standards while soldering. Make soldered splices, wire
to pin/connector joints, and handle repairs when required. Reading
& Interpreting Technical Docs Work confidently from wiring
diagrams, schematics, BOMs, engineering drawings, and verbal
instructions. Build according to the latest revisions and
version-controlled documents. Production & Process Execution Follow
all work instructions, travelers, and routing sheets accurately.
Work efficiently in lean production cells and complete builds
within expected timeframes. Keep the workspace clean, organized,
and compliant with ESD and 5S standards. Required Qualifications
Must have an active IPC/WHMA-A-620 Certified Specialist (CS)
certification. J-STD-001 certification is a plus, but being willing
to earn it after hire works too. At least 5 years of hands-on
experience building electrical wire harnesses, doing soldering
work, and assembling cables. Comfortably using a variety of tools,
including: Hand tools: soldering irons, wire strippers, crimpers,
cutters, tweezers. Test & assembly gear: continuity testers,
magnifiers, heat guns, and semi-auto crimp presses. Preferred
Experience Experience working with wiring in industries like
aerospace, defense, automotive, or medical devices. Comfortable
soldering very small-gauge wires (30 AWG and smaller) and working
with tiny connectors. Hands-on experience doing rework, repairs, or
modifications based on customer or QA instructions. Familiar with
build-to-print environments, low-volume/high-mix production, or
prototype builds. Physical Requirements Able to sit or stand at a
workbench for long stretches of time. Strong hand-eye coordination
and good vision for detailed, precision work. Comfortable lifting
up to about 30 pounds on occasion. Pay Details: $21.00 to $24.00
