Job Description:

Axient is seeking an -ICBM CTF Command and Launch, Codes and Cryptography Test Engineer -to support our customer in -Hill AFB, UT. -

This position is to provide advisory and assistance services to the Air Force. Duties will include, but are not limited to: -Provide technical support to the ICBM Combined Test Force (CTF) Lead Developmental Test & Evaluation Organization (LDTO) in development test and evaluation (T) activities for AF Nuclear Weapons Center missile systems.Work as part of a multi-disciplinary government and contractor team to plan, test, analyze, and report through multiple program acquisition phases.Support developmental test & evaluation oversight of Weapon System command and launch codes and cryptography to assess performance against stated program requirements.Review requirements and analysis associated with qualifying codes and crypto devices and processes.Coordinate with the program office and contractor to develop, review, and implement test plans for all levels of builds.Prepare Technical Review Board (TRB) documents and brief the CTF as appropriate.Represent the Sentinel CTF as designated test witness for testing associated with codes and crypto qualification.Author/co-author assessments of test outcomes to provide independent technical input to the AFNWC program office.Maintain cognizance of all assigned CTF/Test Team engineering activities.Assess test support and systems integration progress and trends of testing, identify problems and areas of concern for assigned systems.Support periodic reviews of test support and systems integration test results and test plan status. - Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and Integrated Test Teams (ITTs) as appropriate.

Must have an active and transferrable DoD security clearance with current investigation at the required level. - Must be able to maintain the required clearanceA Bachelor's degree is required. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity is preferred. Degrees in related fields will be considered.At least three years of experience with electronics test and evaluation is highly desired.Work is timely, efficient and of acceptable quality. Completed work meets project/program objectives.Personal and organizational interactions exhibit and foster cooperation and teamwork, enhance customer relations, and actively promote rapport with customersCommunications are clear, concise, and at appropriate level.Focused adherence to safety and security requirements.Familiarity with test & evaluation planning and processes consistent with DoD acquisition directives and policies is highly desired.Familiarity with ICBM weapon systems and specifically code systems, control concepts, and cryptographic devices is highly desired.Familiarity with systems integration with expertise in the areas of subsystems integration to include cryptographic systems is highly desired.Familiarity with nuclear certification and independent verification and validation (IV) is highly desired.Familiarity with operational cybersecurity requirements is highly desired.Must be willing to travel up to 10%. -Must meet applicable COVID safety requirements and protocols
