Job Description Job Description About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to support electrical projects in industrial machine shop environments. This temporary role involves installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including specialty work such as wiring and outfitting shipping containers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and experienced in commercial or industrial electrical work. Key Responsibilities: Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including power distribution and lighting in machine shop settings. Wire and install electrical systems in shipping containers. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently and safely. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams. Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and all safety standards. Assist with facility upgrades, machine wiring, and temporary electrical setups as needed. Coordinate with management to schedule work with minimal disruption to operations. Qualifications: Journeyman Electrician license required. Proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical work. Ability to read schematics and blueprints. Experience with machine shop equipment wiring and lighting installation preferred. Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Comfortable working at multiple locations (Magna and Draper). Safety-conscious and able to follow PPE and workplace protocols. Work Schedule: Full-time temporary position for the next several months. Primarily based in Magna, with occasional work in Draper.
